Forest of Dean

One of England’s few remaining ancient woodlands, the Forest covers some thirty thousands acres. Located in the triangle of land between the rivers Severn and Wye it is an excellent area for walking, cycling or just relaxing.

In Spring the bluebells covers the forest in a carpet of emerald green and sapphire blue, followed by the dusky pink of foxgloves.

In Summer the many varieties of trees show their lush shades of green. Wildlife is active, wild deer roam the forest and squirrels are busy collecting their winter store and birds sing from dawn to dusk.

In Autumn, foliage with its glorious colours of copper and burnished gold makes this a beautiful time of year.

In Winter experience a walk through the woodland on a clear, crisp frosty morning.
